Basswood honey is often used to treat sore throat, cold and flue, inflammation of
the gastro-intestinal tract, kidney and gall deceases.
It's one of the few honeys in the Northern hemisphere that are produced by
honey bees collecting the nectar from the blooming trees (basswood, or Linden trees).
