Black Locust, aka Acacia Honey
Black locust, or Acacia honey is produced by the honey bees
that collect nectar from the flowers of the False Acacia or Black Locust tree.
Black locust honey has a fruity, floral and delicate aroma and pleasant taste.
Fresh black locust honey is light in color and very transparent.
This is the most liquid honey of all. It doesn’t crystallize for a very long time
due to its high fructose content. In crystallized form it is milk-white in color
and syrup like in texture.
Black locust honey is often used as a general tonic, as well as for insomnia,
for treating gastrointestinal diseases, kidney and gall diseases.
Pure Canadian unpasteurized honey.
